Slacker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been called worse. I have been so busy with school book fair, practice, games, and all that mommy jazz. I have neglected the old blog. I have finished two scrapbook pages and will post those tomorrow. I feel like if I commit to that, I will make sure I do it. ;)
Baseball and Softball news:
Dodgers are the 1st half champions. Wooo Hooo!!!!!!!!!! We beat "that" team tonight. OK, lets be nice, we won tonight and I was so proud of our boys. They  ignored that a-hole of a coach  played like champions and were very excited to be undefeated. You could not ask for a better group of boys and coaching staff. Awesome I must say!!!! Good job guys!!!
Abby had her doctors appt. today and she has two more weeks of no jumping or running. This has pretty much eaten up her whole softball season. She may have 3 or 4 games left by the time she can play. If she can play. I was very proud of her coach though. Even though she is short players, she was more conserned about Abby's foot. That makes me happy. Good coach. I told her that she has to depend on that foot for the rest of her life and she better take care of it. She just smiled. I think she likes the attention. That's ok, I have plenty to give to her.
Well, I better get to sleep, another day of the bookfair ahead. I am so glad we are out of school Friday. I think it will be movie day. Shhhhh... don't tell. They love the movies!

Our Spring Swap

I participated in a spring swap a couple of weeks ago over at Family of shorts. This was a lot of fun and look what I got.
Terri sent me loads of stickers by Jolee's Boutique. Love em!!!! Apple lotion, a little birdie journal, some fun finger nail files, the best gum I have ever tasted (trident layers/wildstrawberry&tangycitrus), and some pink lemonade tictacs. YUMMY!!!!!
I think she has me pegged. ;) See the little yellow flowers at the bottom? I had two pictures of Abby in her "JUSTICE" clothes and some tights that matched. The clothes in Justice for girls reminds me of the Sassafrass scrapbooking line. It is so collorful and fun. I knew I had to use the yellow flowers with that. This is what I came up with.

The little yellow flowers are running accross the bottom with my border. So cute!!! The memories sticker in the yellow cloud was also in my box of surprises. Yeah me!!! Please excuse the toys and gardening tools.

Thank you Terri for all of my goodies. It was great swaping with you. I hope you like everything. I can't wait to see your pictures.
Have a happy Monday everyone!

A day at the Zoo Atlanta

We had plans to visit the zoo, but what my kids did not know, was that I called their Aunt Caren and cousin Olivia to come join us. The plan was that she would call us when she got there and meet up with us. She did and it was priceless. The kids loved it! I wish I had a picture of Grant when he saw Olivia. He just looked at her up and down, put his hands close to her but wasn't sure. He looked at her like I know you and then he place his hands on her cheeks and then hugged her. OMG!!! This had to be the sweetest thing I have ever seen. The whole time Olivia was just looking at him. Abby and Blake looked to see who Grant was hugging and started hugging Olivia too. Hal and I told no one and it was great. We will have to do this again Caren, surprise or not! Thank you for coming with us.
These are some of my favorite pictures of the day. (out of 237 pictures)

Hello! Who is taking the picture here? When Aunt Caren is around, she is the entertainment. Can you tell she is beside me? She was trying to get them to look at me. Abby already knows if you look, it will only take one or two shots. I am still trying to teach my other two. Thank you Aunt Caren for bringing the wagon. It was awesome!

My favorite of all the animals!!!!!!!!!!! Big Poser!

Priceless!!!
We had so much fun, but it wasn't over yet. We stoped by Cheescake Factory for dinner and desert.

Blueberry & White Chocolate Cheesecake
Yummy!!!
I could really use a piece of this right now.

Off to get the kids ready for bed and school tomorrow. Later, Kellie.

Funny Story!

My brother was going to Disney this past weekend and requested to use my mothers SUV. He drives a small pickup with two seats and is not safe for his four yr old on long trips. The morning he left, he forgot his camera. Hello! You can't go to disney without a camera. They had stoped at waffle house to eat breakfast so mom and Abby took the camera to them in my dads old truck. On their way home mom said they were talking and Abby said "COOL!" Mom thought "huh"? That was not pertaining to the conversation so she looked over and Abby was rolling the window up with the handle. She ask her what she was talking about and Abby said that this truck was COOL because the windows rolled down with a handle.
I laughed and laughed when mom told me until I realized the yr of this truck is the same yr I graduated. Rrrrrrrrr! Reality bites sometimes doesn't it?
This truck belonged to my dad and he only believed in necessities.

YEAH!!!!!  I got my package mailed off today and I am so excited for Terri to get it. I hope she likes everything.  This was my first swap and I think I am hooked. Gotta make this quick so more on this later.
See yall,
Kellie

Our Easter Pictures

Easter Pictures
Blake's teacher had a different take on Easter Egg hunting this year. She put math problems on each egg that would lead them to the next egg. They would find the next egg with another math problem and so on. Till they found their prize egg with the # they were looking for. Fun huh? I thought it was a cute idea too. Can anyone tell me how he found his prize egg??? haha! Smart boy!

Abby and Blake have some very sweet friends that just moved into the neighborhood so we thought we would give them a good welcome. I found this idea here. My friend Michelle had this blogger listed on her site. The kids were so excited. :) Both hers and mine. The sign on the door says YOUV'E BEEN EGGED. I added Welcome to the neighborhood to it. FUN FUN FUN!!! Next time I will make sure to buy the brightest eggs I can find. They will show up better for surprise purposes.

Easter morning

The easter bunny was very good to my babies. He brought candy, movies, big bugs, flower seeds to plant, hot chocolate, and more candy. They would not share with me so I have put in my request for a basket next year.:) Do you see the wrapper above? Blake ate his Rochero chocolates within a minute. This is my favorite and the little rascle did not even give me one. That's OK!
We went to church and it was a full house. We sit in the same seats every Sunday and have no problem seeing. Not this time, isn't that awesome?!!!! Can you see the cross in the back right? It was so beautiful. The bottom base was rocks and flowers. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I asked him to take the picture. Well.... he was sitting on the end. ;) How long has he lived with me?  He was a good sport, I must say.
Kristi, my best friend for pretty much my entire life, called and we went to her mom's to hunt easter eggs. It was so great to see her. I sure do miss the time we use to spend together. Life and children happen and time flies by so quickly. We really need to make more time for ourselves and meet more often. I spent most of my childhood with this girl, it's only fair we sit and talk about old times. Here are some pics of the kids hunting eggs. The last one is her son (in the glasses), he is as tall as me and he is in the 8th grade. WOW!

He sure is a cutie pie. I better not say that, he is too cool.:) Look at those cheeks! Love em! He is a very sweet boy. Very well mannered. I have to say Kristi, you've done well with this one. Her daughter is so beautiful. She is just like Blake. ENERGY! They were buddies for the day.

Coloring easter eggs

Egg decorating does require some serious consentration. haha!
We made little bugs and we had little scate boards and boats that the eggs sit in. (forgot to take a picture of those) They were so cute. Mimi did a very good job helping while I took pictures. Thanks Mom!!!
After all this we watched a couple of movies, played some WII,

and sacked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do mean all of us too! Dogs included. What an awesome day!!!! I hope every easter is like this one, I would just like to see more of our families involved. I have never been much of a planner (michelle you see this), but I think I might need to start something new.;)
Off to enjoy the rest of our springbreak.
